Just a couple of days ago, I launched the new Theme Hybrid feature to allow theme authors to upload their custom themes to the site. Now, two days later, we’ve got a brand new theme from the talented Galin Simeonov.
Don’t worry; he didn’t code the entire theme in two days. He put in much more work than that. I’ve been looking over his work for quite a while now, and it is definitely top-notch stuff.
He’s got the makings of a great theme designer. Plus, he’s building from the Hybrid Core framework. What more could you ask for?
Galin runs a site called AlienWP where he showcases his theme design work.
I’m a huge fan of his minimalist style and his approach to theme development, which falls right in line with the Theme Hybrid philosophy. So, be sure to check out his Web site and see the other themes he’s created based on the Hybrid Core framework.
Introducing the Ascetica theme
is the first theme (of I hope many) that Galin has created to add directly to Theme Hybrid. This means the theme is fully-supported on this site; it even has its own dedicated support forum.
Ascetica is a minimalist portfolio and blog theme with a responsive layout. It was designed for bloggers, photobloggers, designers, and photographers to showcase their work in a simple yet elegant environment.
You can get all the details, view the demo, and download the theme from the Ascetica theme page.
Also, everyone give a big congrats to Galin for being the first Theme Hybrid member to have his theme showcased on the site.
