Loop Pagination is a PHP script packaged with the Hybrid Core framework. Its purpose is create a list of paginated numbers for multi-posts pages (e.g., archives, search, etc.) as opposed to the standard previous/next links.
Enabling the Loop Pagination feature
To enable the loop pagination feature in your theme, add the following line of code to your theme setup function.
add_theme_support( 'loop-pagination' );
This will merely load the PHP script. It does not display the pagination itself.
To use the Loop pagination feature, you must make use of the
loop_pagination() function in your WordPress theme. This will typically go just after The Loop in your archive-type templates.
The simplest way to output the pagination is using the following code.
<?php if ( !is_singular() && current_theme_supports( 'loop-pagination' ) ) loop_pagination(); ?>
loop_pagination() function does take in several arguments though. You can read about those on the
loop_pagination() documentation page.
