This is a list of terms that you agree to when you sign up for an account at ThemeHybrid.com.
Using the support forums and tutorials
When you purchase a membership, you will have access for one year to the support forums and online tutorials. This is designed to help you set up any theme available from this site.
Theme/Plugin licenses and modifications
Themes and plugins on this site are licensed under the GPL. You may modify the themes or plugins in any way that you see fit and/or use them for client work as long as you follow the terms of the GPL. The GPL license is included with theme download packages.
However, a few themes released early in this site’s existence were licensed in a different manner and are currently being phased out. These themes will have a
license.txt file included in their download packages. After January 31, 2009, these themes will no longer be available for download.
All themes are built to work on the latest version of WordPress. The themes were designed to work with a clean installation of the WordPress software. If you modify a theme or use any third-party software, I cannot guarantee that the theme will work. However, I will work with you and support the themes the best I can.
Payments for membership are through PayPal. None of your credit card or bank account information is kept on this site. Your email address is kept in the database here, but will not be given out.
When you create an account, you are subscribing to a yearly service. You are free to renew your subscription after the year is up.
Beginning January 18, 2009, payments are one-time fees. Members subscribed before that date are on a recurring payment system. If you’d like to unsubscribe from recurring payments, please notify me before the subscription renews. You may also cancel this through your PayPal account.
No refunds will be given for any payment you make on this site.
What is support?
Support is about helping you use the WordPress themes on this site. It’s about making your user experience better while using WordPress. It’s about helping you make small modifications to a theme to better suit your needs.
Support is not about helping you completely or even heavily customize your theme. It is not about making sure third-party plugins, themes, or other software work correctly for you.
Also note that while all themes are designed to be compatible with as many browsers as possible, only support for the latest two major releases (e.g., IE8, IE9, etc.) of Internet Explorer are supported. Support is not offered for any version older on this site.
All content on this site is copyrighted to Justin Tadlock. Reproducing or redistributing copyrighted material without written permission or a license to do so is strictly forbidden and will result in the loss of membership and possibly other actions as defined by copyright law.
Themes and plugins released here are licensed under the GPL (as mentioned in the previous section on theme licenses) and are subject to that particular license, which is packaged with each theme and plugin download.
When you gain membership to the site, you are expected to keep your password confidential. Sharing this information with another person is forbidden and may result in the loss of membership.
All members are expected to be using the latest stable version of WordPress. Members are also expected to be using the latest stable versions of all themes and plugins active on their site. Support is not provided for outdated versions of WordPress, themes, or plugins. “Outdated versions” are any versions released prior to the most recent stable release of the software.
Members who use themes from here should install and activate a child theme if they plan to make any code modifications to their theme. Instructions for doing so are provided in the documentation on this site.
