Forgot password problem

  1. Hi,

    I have some problems with the reset password function since I have installed Woocommerce and all my content is restricted to specific members.

    My website: https://lazonemph.com/

    When someone click on Forgot password (Mot de passe oublié) it goes to a page that is restricted, so my users cannot reset their password. Can you help me with that? Is there a way to grant the access to my members?

    Thank you.

    The problem is that you’ve restricted that page. The simplest solution is to simply not make the page restricted. There’s not a reason for it to be restricted because it’s a page meant specifically for users who are not logged in. You wouldn’t want to limit it to members because that would defeat the purpose of the page itself. I hope that makes sense.

    Outside of that, it looks like there’s a plugin that’s changing your lost password URL to https://lazonemph.com/boutique/mon-compte/lost-password/

    If you know which plugin is doing that, I can look into the code to figure out how we can change that back to the normal WordPress lost password URL.

    Thank you for your answer! That really make sense.. It is woocommerce pluggin that changed the URL. I will try to change the permission for this page, but since all of my page are restricted I’m not such I could do it. Unless I unlock my website and add permission to all my pages separately? I’ll try tomorrow 😉

    I found this code in WooCommerce that filters the lost password URL:

    add_filter( 'lostpassword_url', 'wc_lostpassword_url', 10, 1 );

    If you add the following to your theme’s functions.php file, it should point the URL back to the normal WordPress lost password screen.

    remove_filter( 'lostpassword_url', 'wc_lostpassword_url', 10 );
