Getting Started

Setting up the Life Collage theme should be easy. Before you do any of the below, you need to download and install (not activate) the Hybrid theme.

Here are the instructions for getting the theme to work:

Installing the Life Collage theme

  • Download the Life Collage theme (I’m assuming you’ve done this already).
  • Unzip the folder you downloaded.
  • Upload the life-collage folder to your /wp-content/themes directory.

Your directory structure should look like this:

/wp-content
	/themes
		/life-collage

Activating the Life Collage theme

Since you’re installing a child theme, don’t activate Hybrid. You need to activate the Life Collage theme.

  • Login into WordPress dashboard (administration).
  • Click on the Appearance link (may be Themes or Design in some WP versions).
  • Click on the screenshot for Life Collage.
  • Cick on “Activate Life Collage” (WP 2.6+).
