Getting Started

Setting up the Leviathan theme should be easy. Before you do any of the below, you need to download and install (not activate) the Hybrid theme.

Here are the instructions for getting the theme to work:

Installing the Leviathan theme

  • Download the Leviathan theme (I’m assuming you’ve done this already).
  • Unzip the folder you downloaded.
  • Upload the leviathan folder to your /wp-content/themes directory.

Your directory structure should look like this:

/wp-content
	/themes
		/leviathan

Activating the Leviathan theme

Since you’re installing a child theme, don’t activate Hybrid. You need to activate the Leviathan theme.

  • Login into WordPress dashboard (administration).
  • Click on the Themes link (may be Appearance or Design in some WP versions).
  • Click on the screenshot for Leviathan.
  • Cick on “Activate Leviathan” (WP 2.6+).
