Hi Justin, I inform you that the words 'on' (date on byline) and 'Next page' and 'Previous page' in category posts view were not translated. I check file it_IT.po with Poedit and everything is right, these word are correctly translated but if you see on my blog they are in english, see:

How can I fix this issue?

I always use Heiko Rabe`s Codestyling Localization plugin to translate. Maybe the distributed translation files are incomplete with Hybrid 0.6 and Wordpress 2.8.

Use the plugin to rescan and translate whats missing. It will work if the missing code translation is internationalized.

Codestyling Localization is great plugin which imo should be in every localized sites toolbox.
It gives the ability to easy change and fix localization on themes and plugins and in many cases the integrated Google translate hits the mark for backend and usual expressions.
Justin, if I open the italian translation file with poedit the translation is correct:
for example: 'Next page' is 'Prossima pagina'..
but as you can see on my blog it seems not translated.. :-(
Its probably a new instance of Next Page, so it must be translated too...
