no markup through Query Posts

  1. When I show posts through Query Posts all markup is gone (also in the source code). So all bolds and italics are no longer there. Is there a way to preserve the markup?

  2. can we see your site, normally for me query posts keeps all of the standard markup

  3. http://www.odendaal.nl/blog/

    The first alinea of the post "Warmte" is in bold.

  4. you could try targeting the id of
    #query-posts-3 .widget {style accordingly here}

    what browser do you use?
    If its Firefox I would strongly suggest you get the add-on firebug which is indispensable in such matters or .css and stuff

  5. surely that works, but I don't want all text bold, but have the possibility to make some text bold or italic. If you look with firebug you will see that the tag <strong> does not appear in the widget, but that it does appear in the post itself.

    checking with: Safari, Firefox, Chrome, IE7, IE8

  7. Clear, thanks. One drawback will be than that my clients need to use html-tags because the "Excerpt" has no wysiwyg-editor.

    (One remark about the versioning of Hybrid: In the files there is no version number, so it's not clear which version it is.)

  8. Found a plugin to ad a rich text editor to the excerpt field:
