Line height for a poem

Hi -
I'm trying to post a poem, which has hard returns like poems often do .. .. but would like it to be single-spaced, not paragraph spaced (default post formatting). Suggestion for easiest way to do that? Or - is there a way to create another format for the post dropdown? Thanks.

Hi - my co-editor used the html tab in post editor to remove each hard returns and it worked. . this was related to a holiday today so we wanted to publish fast.

we have published a few other poems - just regular singular posts, no separate category (could be in any of our categories, could be any tag although if that would help we could have 1 tag). I think I get the object here, if I set up the css class right, it should show up in the format drop down box in the kitchen sink area for post editing, yes? and yes not line height, sorry, was in a rush.

I think if you hold shift when you press return in the edit area it breaks a single line rather than a paragraph break?
