How to use 'Press This' bookmarklet for custom post types

    I love the Press This feature, but I'd like to have a couple different bookmarklets that post different custom post types. For example, I have a videos custom post type, so if I were on a YouTube page, I would want to 'Press This' to a video post type, not a standard post. I glanced through the PressThis.php file but didn't see anything readily apparent that would let me change the post type. Any thoughts?

    Post insertion seem to be handled by press_it() function. It doesn't specify 'post_type' argument so it always defaults to regular post.

    So far I see no way to extend this except by messing with file itself (not a good idea for core files). Maybe fork it under another name...

    What about making a bookmarklet that just copies it into the standard WordPress Add New page, feeding it the custom post type, title and link?
