Help with double slider in custom hybrid news child theme

  1. OK, so I've been wanting to tryout making a child theme a milion times, but finaly I'm as close to finish as I'll ever be :-)

I have made a customization over Justins Hybrid News, and with this I've made it possible to have two sliders. One with featured posts, and one with quotes (both can be controlled from the backend).

But I can't position the quote one right :-( It's right on top of the excerpts. I would like it below.

Check out the testsite here: http://wp.fonzie.dk any input will be appreciated including a name for the child theme.

  2. Sorry no fix but I'm curious if you are using the stock hybrid news slider (modded of coarse) or a different one?

Yes, I'm using the Hybrid News one, and then I just modded it from the front-page.php and the Front-page CSS, but also in the JavaScript library, to be able to control it from the backend. You might notice that they have different effects and that they change with different speed.

The <div id="reference">...</div> area should be above the Excerpts section on your page.

But the reference area is the one with the yellow background, and it is supposed to be in the bottom.

And if I make it 326 then it will be as big as the featured area.

What I have on the page is:
Featured area (the grey one with big picture)
Excerpts (the two column layout with the thumbnails)
    Reference (the yellow quote area)

  8. Ahh I added it to the .reference in stead of the #reference (I'm a novice at work you know :-)).

    Thanks a bunch.
