Welcome, guest!

Feel free to read the blog, browse for themes, or join the club.

The community forums are currently being phased out. At the end of February or early March 2012, you will no longer be able to post here. This is because the entire site is being restructured. Please use the main forums for discussions.

  1. After hours of searching I found Justin Tadlock's post on Listing a Series Of Posts was an unbelievably easy fix to my problem. The only problem was that I only tested it on normal posts instead of a custom post type.

    If someone can tell me how to modify the code on Justin's post that I mentioned above to suit a custom post type called "tutorial", I will gladly trade the answer for an agreed donation. I want to say a big thanks to Justin for the original bit of code as he has done an awesome job but I know he would get hassled for this sort of stuff all the time so I figured that I would make it available to anyone who needs a little extra cash.

  2. You should read Template Tags/get posts « WordPress Codex to learn more about how to use the get_posts function.

    For example: get_posts( array( 'post_type' => 'tutorial', 'numberposts' => -1 ) );

    get_posts() makes use of the WP_Query class to fetch posts, so if you want to learn more about how to fetch posts with various arguments, check out WP_Query « Type & Status Parameters.
