  1. http://saintaugs.com/ is a site I designed for my daughter's daycare. We launched it about a week ago, so it's a little slim on content. Also, much of the fun stuff (pictures of the kids) is password protected, and only accessible by parents. That's something we decided early on...

I built this site by creating a child theme for Hybrid. It's been several years since I used WordPress, and not only was the concept of child themes completely new to me, WordPress itself has changed drastically since I last used it.

There's still more work to be done on this site, but overall I think it turned out quite well, and the staff and parents really like it.

Justin, thanks for all your help!

  2. I like it - very good logo/header/colour scheme, it's kind of calming to look at! Was the calendar a plugin or a custom thing?

  3. Thank you!.
Yes, the calendar is a plugin. I left the author's info visible at the bottom of the calendar page. Here's the link: http://www.kieranoshea.com/calendar

  4. Eric,
Nice site... very well thought out.
On some pages you have just the necessary side widgets; not the full list from the home page.
Is there a plugin that controls this?
I'm new, and just started working with the child theme, Leviathan. It seems as if my page options only allow the widgets to be on or off.

    Thank you.

  5. fverni,
I think the Plug-in you are looking for is
    Widget Context

There are more Plugins like it (I believe Justin may have one?) but this one is first to mind; and I have been using it with Hybrid w success.

  6. Thanks, @fverni!

@StealthAoo is correct, I'm using Widget Context; which reminds me, I should send them a few bucks. The plugin is working quite well so far. ;-)
