This can be a sensitive area because money is involved, so everyone that posts on this forum must follow these guidelines strictly.
Posting something here does not mean that you will definitely find a designer for your project. It does not even mean that you'll get a reply, but I hope you do.
I really want this forum to work out as it could be a great resource for the community here.
What this forum is about
1) You can request modifications of my themes (preferrably a child theme).
2) You can request that I (Justin Tadlock) do some modifications.
3) You can list yourself as a designer.
1. Requesting modifications
* I, Justin Tadlock, will not take responsibility for bad deals and relationships formed on this forum.
* If someone doesn't perform the job they were supposed to, let me know, and I'll ban them from this site.
* Do not list prices here. This should be discussed in private by email or phone.
* List your contact information.
* Explain, in detail, what you'd like done.
* Do not list your job on a designer or developer page. List it as a new topic.
2. Requesting a customization from Justin
* I'll knock 15% off my normal rate for exclusive theme club members (assuming I take the job).
* I will go ahead and let you know that I don't work for cheap. The lowest I'll go for a full blog design is $1,500. We're just talking about a basic blog here with no bells and whistles.
* I will work for cheaper for simpler things though, so don't be scared off by the price.
* I won't take on all jobs. I'll only take on things I'm interested in and have the time for, so it's best to post the request to the general community here.
* Do not list prices here. This should be discussed in private by email or phone.
* List your contact information.
* Explain, in detail, what you'd like done.
3. Listing yourself as a designer
* Start a new thread with the title Designer: Your Name or Developer: Your Name or some variation of that.
* If you want to list yourself as a potential designer, you need to post the themes you work best with (i.e. Hybrid, Options).
* List your contact information.
* List minimum rates (not required).
* Reference other design work you've done.
* If I get good feedback from others, I'll sticky your thread at the top of the forums.
* If you participate regularly in the support forums and I think you would be a good candidate as a designer, I'll sticky your thread at the top of the forums.
