Plugin Idea - Control byline and post-meta

   I remember a blogpost a while ago that asked for plugin ideas, we'll I didn't have any at the time, but now I do, so I thought I'd plop them on here. I use Hybrid for CMS rather than blogs (I try those too, but how many do you need).

   Some of the things that I ALWAYS need to change to use Hybrid as a CMS are:

   • Changing the .byline look/wording
   • Changing the .entry-meta info
   • trying to change [...] to a link that says "insert your choice here" and leads to the article/post

   Anyway, I remember you were asking for things that would be useful to wordpress in general, not just Hybrid. I think these requests would be small orders and fit that bill.

   Just wanted to pop these in the ideas.

   This would actually be useful in WordPress but also impossible, at least to make it span across more than a single theme. There's no standard way to show the byline and entry metadata (for good design/development reasons too).

   Nevertheless, I do hope to eventually expand the Hybrid Hook plugin to not only work with Hybrid's action hooks but its filter hooks as well.

   The byline and entry meta filter hooks are the toughest to handle though because they have to account for a variety of situations (posts, pages, taxonomies, etc.)
