A News type theme with a slider and some theme options.
Nice theme, Patrick :D
Nice job Patrick
Malleable looks like a fine start to getting something up and running for me.
To see what was tweaked for this child theme for example.
Also I think it would be cool to experiment with other jQuery feature slider types, there are so many jQuery plugins out there.
Have there been any example in the forums here of other jQuery feature sliders and enhancements?
What do I need to know about using these frameworks and themes as far as licensing for commercial sites goes? That's a question for future use, and not immediate use by the way.
Thanks, it would be nice to be able to read some of Justin's replies non-support related, but then I suppose everything must be logged up to support, totally understand.

@tzHybrid
You're allowed to use any GPL themes (all themes listed on Theme Hybrid) for commercial use without any other expectation except that you continue to use the GPL. In other words, use it as you like.
Dumb newbie question - do I need to install Hybrid News or just the main Hybrid theme?
Not sure I see where Patrick mentions it being based on Hybrid News, but as a child theme is it self contained or does it rely on the other child theme.
So a really stupid question then is a child theme of a child theme reliant on having the parent and the earlier child installed? I'm guessing not the child of the child, lol.
Guess when I play with the downloads it may be apparent too.
Thanks for the GPL replies Pat.
I've made the leap and installed malleable and the others, no problems to report.
Soaking in all the built-in features.
Thanks.
nice work PD,
how do you replace the header description + teaser info with a site logo image ...
and are there logo image size limits ...
thanx
Patrick,
Noobie question. How can I add a custom image as the header?
I would like to put a jpg or png that is full width by approximately 150 px deep.
Thank you in advance!
I found the answer I was looking for regarding adding a custom image to the header.
I guess sometimes you just need to dig-n and study the code.
A bit daunting when first starting out; but I suppose everyone was a newbie at some point.
Thanks.
