AngelicCupcakes - Hybrid Child Theme « Community

Welcome, guest!

Feel free to read the blog, browse for themes, or join the club.

The community forums are currently being phased out. At the end of February or early March 2012, you will no longer be able to post here. This is because the entire site is being restructured. Please use the main forums for discussions.

AngelicCupcakes - Hybrid Child Theme

  1. Just thought I'd post a theme I've made using the Skeleton framework as a starting point. The customer wanted a site they could update from an existing design done in dreamweaver, so I didn't get much design licence unfortunately but they were happy.

  2. Looks nice. I'd consider getting rid of the pop up images when you click on the pictures on the front page. It'd be a great feature if the pop up images were bigger, but as they're the same size as the thumbnail, it's a fairly pointless exercise.

  3. Very nice and it shows how any site can be done with Hybrid and WordPress. Also you can tell them they can update sites with Dreamweaver;).

I hear ya but it looks nice and they are happy. Success!

  4. Thanks for the comments -
Kyle - I take your point but the site owner is now busy learning how to use Wordpress and replacing the pictures with bigger versions so it should make more sense in time.

Craig - Let me know how a client can update sites with dreamweaver - do they have to buy contribute or is there another open source/free way?

  5. Sorry the Dreamweaver comment was meant as a joke ;).

  6. I like it, it's simple but very cup-cakey, lol.
