Sun, 05 Jun 2011 00:33:30 +0000Bill Seymour3586@http://themehybrid.com/community/
Did I stumble on Showcase with thumbnails somewhere? Clicking on Forums-Showcase and tags Showcase give me posts. Strange- I'll have to backtrack and see what I did.

OK, I somehow got to themehybrid.com/showcase/ which displays Showcase with thumbs.

I am likely missing the obvious, but I don't see a clickable link for the Showcase thumbnails page. (Again, I'm probably just missing something.)

Mon, 13 Sep 2010 05:31:42 +0000Justin Tadlock3276@http://themehybrid.com/community/
I've got a ton of changes for things like this planned in the future. A lot of it is waiting for the new DevPress site to get off the ground. I know I'm always being a bit vague about planned changes to this site, but so much of it hinges on getting DevPress launched. But, I still can't give away too many details about those changes. Some of them can't even happen until the dust finally settles and some decisions are made about the two sites.

I'm thinking about January, I'm going to be able to do a complete site refresh with all new features. It's just going to take some time.

Keep the ideas coming though. A better showcase has been on my list for months as I plan to merge the Showcase forum and the Showcase blog into a single entity.
Thu, 09 Sep 2010 07:54:21 +0000Thomas Clausen3265@http://themehybrid.com/community/
It's not often that I make it onto the Showcase part of the forums. And that's a shame. There are so many cool customizations of your themes Justin. I think you should think about making a page where future (and existing) users could see what is possible with this great framework. Kind of like your page-thumbnail-archive.php template maybe even with an opportunity to rate them.

I know these wouldn't necessarily be downloadable themes, but it would be great inspiration for new as well as existing users to see this.

Nice work! The more I look, the more I like Hybrid, and your site has shown what is possible with this theme.
By the way, I went to UMass as a graduate student, and I'm located right down the road from you, in Northampton.
Thanks for the inspiring work.

Having recently upgraded our website to Wordpress 2.7, I decided that while I was at it, I'd give the design a face-lift as well.

Previously , AmherstWire.com was run on Options. I've now switched us over to Hybrid with a modified Old School child theme (note to Justin: we're currently listed in the Showcase gallery as Options, so you might want to update that).

I personally love the rock-solid framework that Hybrid gives us and the ease of customizing its design. The Showcase feature of the Old School theme is brilliant as well. Thank you again for a job well done!
