Thanks!

I think I am done with my new site. I am a reptile breeder and my sites main purpose is to sell the animals I produce. I am hoping to get honest feedback on it. I know your not in the hobby, but you guys have a lot of experience in this area. I am looking to see what people think of it before I officially announce it on the reptile forums, facebook, etc.

So, when you get some time, can you tool around the whole thing and tell
me what you think. I still need to take pictures and update my
available list. I have to redo the pictures for the thumbnails. They
are blurry because of the size increase.

Some questions to keep in mind:

- How do you like the start page? Do you like the recent animals in
the sidebar? Notice I have Latest Posts and Categories below that.
(ignore what's in the recent animals box... that will change when I
add animals). I plan on regularly adding posts / articles to the site.

- How do you like the available page? Is it easy to get around? Do you
like my "note" section above the available animals? Is it tacky?

- How is the speed? It should be quicker once I redo the pictures. I
didn't realize I used huge pictures on my available page. Each is over
500k.

- I had a Slickr Flickr slide show on the front page. The plugin is
in the process of being fixed as it was conflicting with some other
plugins I run. When I add it, it will be like TSK:
.... What do you think of that?

- Do you think the photos and YouTube pages add value?

- Anything jump out at you I should change?

-How can I improve the site?

Site address:
creativefarmdesign on "Midnight Blind - Based on Old School Theme" Sun, 27 Sep 2009 03:16:46 +0000 creativefarmdesign 1876@
Just re-design one of my client's website - check it out.
Reinar Svendsen on "Old School, New School?" Minor tweaks can be expected.

Only CSS and functions.php have been personalized e.g.:
- Header contains two different images (transparent images)
- Choosen widget blocks instead of home inserts due to way better flexibility.
- Sidebar widgets and widget blocks have different layouts.
- Main Navigation have background images.
- Tabs have background images.
- Only custom field for Video is used.
- Various sections have right- and bottom- borders attempting to make it look like shadows.
- Added CSS elements from Hybrid
- Changed the STRONG element from traditional Bold style to background coloring.
and so on...
Reinar Svendsen on "Old School, New School?" Hai 439@

Having recently upgraded our website to Wordpress 2.7, I decided that while I was at it, I'd give the design a face-lift as well.

Previously , was run on Options. I've now switched us over to Hybrid with a modified Old School child theme (note to Justin: we're currently listed in the Showcase gallery as Options, so you might want to update that).

I personally love the rock-solid framework that Hybrid gives us and the ease of customizing its design. The Showcase feature of the Old School theme is brilliant as well. Thank you again for a job well done!
