I see you used some CSS techniques from the Pop Critics redesign.

Everything is starting to shape up. The biggest problem I see is that you're using XHTML markup to get your content into three columns when you could've simply used CSS to achieve the same effect, but much cleaner.

You should really read this article:
http://www.alistapart.com/articles/holygrail

I just implemented it in a test Hybrid child theme in less than two minutes to achieve the Holy Grail of site layouts. Hybrid's XHTML markup is solid. Stop by the forums, and we can set you up with a much more future-proof layout without losing any integrity in your markup.

Other than that, it's looking good.

Oh yeah, you misspelled Egotictcal [sic] in your header image. ;)
David on "Malewail.com" http://themehybrid.com/community/topic/malewailcom#post-289 Tue, 25 Nov 2008 03:00:06 +0000 David 289@http://themehybrid.com/community/
Malewail. I am also using Firefox 3 & XP and don't see the banner issue. Just checked in IE and also on my kids PCs as well as Firfox on Ubuntu and still don't see it. How far is it pushed out? anychance you can take a screenshot & email to me? I am using an iFrame for the banner code which I know I shouldn't be using, must search back to a recent post I saw Justin posting on how to properly use embed code instead...
The traffic is fantastic, hit over 3,500 uniques on Saturday, the day the show is broadcast, 800 up on the previous Saturday, will push up the weekly adverage a nice bit & I am hoping this trend will continue but it is seasonal traffic, have another 4 weeks before the show finishes...

Justin, I prefer the features gallery too, the upscaled & cropped images don't look too bad so it works well. I'd love to remove the
[gallery]
shortcode I am using on the post pages and reuse the features gallery code to display the images attached to that post or do you know if it's possible to not display the gallery images & just display a link something like
View More Images
to display the attached images?
Justin Tadlock on "X-Factor Updates" http://themehybrid.com/community/topic/x-factor-updates#post-194 Mon, 17 Nov 2008 00:21:28 +0000 Justin Tadlock 194@http://themehybrid.com/community/
I definitely like it with the larger Features Gallery better.
StormRider on "X-Factor Updates" http://themehybrid.com/community/topic/x-factor-updates#post-193 Sun, 16 Nov 2008 23:46:38 +0000 StormRider 193@http://themehybrid.com/community/
Very nice job with the Spartan child theme Davek and congrats on the excellent traffic figures already. On Firefox 3 under XP the top banner is pushed out to the right - I checked IE7 and found the same result?
