Makes reading them a pita. Or am I missing a button to click (here's hoping) to lay them out in a readable format.
I really want to use Trending for my next project. Don't want to spend $25 on something that I may abandon in moments. Yes I can separate it out by hand.. but why should I have to??
Help! Now I was wondering : how could I add an XHTML element to my theme? For exemple, I'd like to add a line using the <hr> tag in my header, in-between the title of my blog and the blog's description.

I'm guessing I need to use a action hook to get my hand on the Hybrid's header.php?

I already styled the <hr> tag in my style.css... I just can't find where to put the line. And I don't want to overwrite header.php since Justin Tadlock suggested in his tutorial that it's not necessary and should be done only in last resort.

Any help will be appreciate. It' my first post here and first time on the forum.

Thanks,

A.
dbonneville on "Custom page at BonFX using Hybrid / Skeleton" http://themehybrid.com/community/topic/custom-page-at-bonfx-using-hybrid-skeleton#post-3250 Mon, 30 Aug 2010 09:01:31 +0000 dbonneville 3250@http://themehybrid.com/community/
I designed this offline and then brought it into a page. I used a strict 3 col grid and a homebrewed css framework to achieve the 3 col strict layout. What a blast. I had some fun figuring out the best way to override global css attributes, but did it easily through page ID scoping on the CSS. It was pretty easy.

So check it out!

http://bonfx.com/the-big-book-of-font-combinations/

Hybrid .8, Skeleton, custom Child Theme
Justin Tadlock on "Help for a litte modification to the Hybrid Original" http://themehybrid.com/community/topic/help-for-a-litte-modification-to-the-hybrid-original#post-2190 Sat, 28 Nov 2009 15:09:50 +0000 Justin Tadlock 2190@http://themehybrid.com/community/
Moving this thread to the Jobs forum. I'll just place a copy of the base CSS in my child theme folder, and modify that as needed.

But just out of curiosity, do you know what the default styling of buttons would look like in CSS? Or does that depend on the browser?
Justin Tadlock on "Remove input element styling from base CSS" http://themehybrid.com/community/topic/remove-input-element-styling-from-base-css#post-560 Mon, 05 Jan 2009 21:31:26 +0000 Justin Tadlock 560@http://themehybrid.com/community/
No, this won't be removed from the base CSS files. You can either overwrite these files with your CSS, choose not to use them, or create your own file. They're merely there for easily setting up your theme. There would be no reason at all to modify the parent theme.
vsandvold on "Remove input element styling from base CSS" http://themehybrid.com/community/topic/remove-input-element-styling-from-base-css#post-559 Mon, 05 Jan 2009 19:34:13 +0000 vsandvold 559@http://themehybrid.com/community/
Hi Justin,

would it be possible to remove styling of the input and textarea element from the Hybrid base CSS? I like to have plain old buttons, but it's hard to undo the styling without modifying the parent theme (which I'd rather not do as it makes upgrades painful).

I admire the quality of your work!

Cheers,
Vegard
