The section of the page where you place this widget (it doesn't have to be Tertiary, that's just my preference) would show the Title as entered and the Value associated with the Name of the Custom Field in the post being displayed. If there are multiple instances of the Custom Field on a post, I would want to post all of them in a list within the column/space.

This should only work for posts and pages, not the Front page or Category, Author or Archive pages.
opticliff on "Customization of Hybrid News primary menu" Thu, 26 Jan 2012 02:18:58 +0000 opticliff 4838@
Hi,

I posted earlier today in the wrong area of the site, and thank you to Justin for answering my initial query and pointing me here.
Now that he established it's possible, I need help making this happen relatively soon. We have a small budget, but also not a really great sense of how much time/work it would take to implement this on our site. If the two aren't compatible let me know.
Here is the initial query:

Is this header / primary menu style (the custom-colored tabs with the highlighter showing which page you're on) possible with Hybrid News? We particularly like that the tabs overlap (almost identical to Google Chrome tabs) and that they are aligned right vis a vis the main content column.

Please see the screenshot of my illustrator mock-up here (the text of this question is there too):

I really appreciate any help, and if you know of someone who could do this for us relatively quickly/cheaply, we have a timeline, and learning to do this right now is not feasible for me given the time frame.

Thank you. What I am trying to achieve is to replace the post titles in the headlines block with the post images instead and when someone hovers the mouse over the thumb, to show up a tooltip with the excerpt text and the image thumb in larger size.

So far I have managed to replace the headline post titles with images, however I cannot find any suitable piece of code to do what I need, so I would not mind donating a few bucks for someone to help me on that task.

Any interested, feel free to email me at: mikemastercorp(at) or just post your comments/offers here in the topic.
