Fantastic! I’ve been looking for a simple way to do this forever.

Great, Justin one of the reasons I love Hybrid Theme is the ability to create as many widget areas as possible but getting into the `function.php` file and now with a Plugin that spears you that, I think its awesome. I am going to try it out when I install Wordpress 2.8

    Thanks

Now I’ll I’ve got to do is wait just a few more hours before 2.8 is released upon the community.

I saw this kind of plugin for a very expensive theme. I think Hybrid just gained another user when I make my next site. :)

Here’s a question, though. How come there’s no plugin that goes the other way, allowing me to easily add elements from my wordpress site to a page outside of WP?

Like, if I have a static html page in another directory, I could just add a simple php slug to add my wordpress header to that page?

I know there’s some really complicated way to do it with code, but there’s got to be a simple solution a plugin could provide.

I’ve got a static page outside of WP that’s got a very high pagerank – I don’t even know why, and I don’t want to mess with things a lot, but if I could copy/paste a couple easy lines of code to drop in my header, footer, and maybe my last blog post I’d be in heaven. I’ve searched the WP codex and support forums and there’s really nothing.

Hi, I’ve been experimenting with using the Hybrid-News template with Hybrid as a base. I am trying to hook the tab widget but to show only on the home page. How could I create a home page specific hook? I would like to place it right where you have the image slider widget on the example. BTW-where is that widget?

Does the hybrid hooks work like the hooks in the Thesis theme?
