It’s only been a few weeks since the last update of the Hybrid theme. By now, you should know that I like to keep things moving, implementing new ideas, and squashing any bugs as soon as they’re found.
This is the latest release in the 0.4 branch of Hybrid, which has been very solid thus far with few bugs.
One neat thing to note about this release is that all of the bug fixes and additional features (except one) have all been contributed through user feedback. It’s great to have the community here at Theme Hybrid contributing in this way.
Version 0.4.2 bug fixes
Most of the bugs were minor, but I think we’ve pretty much covered most of them.
- Added some missing parameters to
hybrid_category_menu(). use_desc_for_titlewas misspelled forhybrid_category_menu().- Authors page template had hardcoded table prefixes rather than user-defined.
- Misspelling of
application/rss+xmlin the comments feed link.

Okay, there’s only one new feature. New features are usually reserved for major releases, but a few people requested this and it was easy enough to implement.
- New
<body>classes.- Single posts get category, tag, and author classes.
- Pages get an author class.

I hope you enjoy this release. To upgrade, just delete your old hybrid folder and upload the new one. It’s as simple as that.

Anyway, what about the translation? Is it need any upgrade? Because, I’m using Hybrid in my language (Bahasa Indonesia)..If yes, let me upgrade and do some necessary change on the language translation..

I cant seem to get this theme to work, it keeps coming up without any style at all, also the thumbs inside where i choose my theme dont seem to be showing on either hybrid or hybrid news, any help would be massivly appreciated, im sure its something simple

But there is a major bug in the hybrid templates, I am currently using Leviathan as the child theme, and its getting all messed up in IE6.
Hopefully you can tell me how to fix it.
